Bosch Dishwasher E21 Error Code
When your dishes, pots and pans are grimy after meal times the magic machine - widely known as your dishwasher - scrubs and cleans them, relieving you of the tedious chore that many people hate to do.
If your Bosch dishwasher is flashing with an E21 error code, it is indicating a problem with the wash motor.
By following our guide we can help you find the fault, and hopefully get you on the way to resolving the issue yourself - saving you money and time spent on expensive call out charges to repair it.
Circulation Pump Blocked
The circulation pump - or commonly known as the wash motor pushes water through the spray arms to clean the dishes. If the circulation pump is faulty or jammed - this could be from a buildup of debris which has become washed into the pump chamber. When this happens the dishwasher should show this error code.
You may feel that you want a new dishwasher - however, with just a few simple steps you can locate the wash pump and inspect it for blockages, which, if removed should resolve the problem saving you money long term.
Safety First! Please ensure that you have disconnected the appliance from the mains before starting any repair.
- Remove any excess water before removing the base of the machine to release the pump.
- Check and remove any blockages preventing the circulation pump from turning and Replace if any damage is found.
