How do you undo the bolts holding the block to the drum?

I need to replace this bearing, but before I do I want be sure I can complete the job. When I took the drier apart at the weekend to diagnose I couldn't undo the bolts holding the block to the drum. Inside they are dome headed and I couldn't get purchase on them to undo. Any suggestions, or do I need to drill them out?

  • I managed to get them undone with some mole grips carefully squeezed around the smooth heads inside the drum while my glamorous assistant undid the nuts from outside. By AJC - Worthing - 11 August 2019

It may be necessary to remove the drum and bearing assembly to examine if the fixings are rivets that need to be drilled out or smooth headed bolts tightened from behind the drum.
