is the filter suppose to be orange
Hello im having problems with my dish washer its been took apart and my two light s are flashing and I dont no what it could be my filter has black round the top were its orange how can I clean it if I carnt get it out Please help if You can all pipes have been checked

The contents of the softener is like a sand to hold the rock salt and act as a filter and is normal.
