Where does this spring fit on GL720 strimmer. I cannot see it on the parts list.

On a GL720 trimmer there is no spring shown in the parts diagram. Ensure the trimmer spool can rotate easily when not held by the catch.
- strimmer has stopped feeding line, does the automatic system need a spring to operate it as I cant see one in my strimmer

Hi there. The spring sits under the button which is situated just above the shaft which leads to the cutting head.
