i had the same issue with my WMA 665 W (the white version) and checked with customer services and finnaly got the response "This is the note we have with regards to the part. :Part supplied may be different to your original part, new part is more structually sound and it may feature different designed hinge & othe components. This part is fully compaitable with the original design, if difficulties fitting we recommend this part be fited by a suitable service engineer" i had the same "T" shaped hole but was not advised to cut the lugs off getting the feeling that the atitude was, "its up to you if you want to do that" i will be contacting them to see if they will add this work arround for mine to their advice section and wondered if you had already done that?
