How do I replace the thermal cut out on my Baumatic BDW13.

The water in the dishwasher doesn't get hot and doesn't dry the items. I have replaced the heater element but it has made no difference. Where abouts in the dishwaher is the thermal cut out? My dishwasher is "built in" how do I get to the cut out to replace it?

  • IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THE MACHINE IS UNPLUGGED!ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE AT THE FRONT THER ARE 2 BLACK INSPECTION PANELS (PROBABLY COVERED BY THE CUPBOARD FLOOR PLYNTH)REMOVE RH COVER PRISE IT OUT WITH A SCREW DRIVER.LOOK TO THE REAR OF THE MACHINE AND YOU CAN SEE THE SWITCH SCREWED IN TO THE PANEL ABOVE (LOOK AT PICTURE OF THE SWITCH SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR)REMOVE THE 2 WIRES,JUST PULL OFF,UNSCREW SWITCH WITH FINGERS, NO NEED FOR A SPANNER THEN REPLACE THE SAME WAY.IT IS QUITE A TIGHT GAP TO GET INTO,BE CAREFULL NOT TO CUT YOURSELF AND TAKE CARE NOT TO KNOCK OFF ANY OTHER WIRES.I REPLACED MINE WITHOUT DISTURBING THE MACHINE POSITION AT ALL IN ABOUT 10MINS By codge - southampton hampshire - 01 February 2012
