wrong thermostat? Order code 5031681598017. 24/7/15
Hi, I have purchased thermostat W 4 which corresponds to the model of my fridge AFB 635 , 991023005174, 850463515000 are the additional serial numbers on the appliance. The thermostat seems completely different to the one I have removed and the terminal numbers on the old thermostat C E L and a seperate earth terminal do not correspond with those on the replacement unit which are numbered 6 4 3. The unit looks identical to Stock Number: ES1331423 but it says that this is not compatible with my model. The fridge is an autodefrost under counter unit. Can you please advise me. Thanks. Thanks

This thermostat should be 'suitable' but is not the original as that is no longer available. Connection 3 is the live in and can be checked by using a meter on resistance to confirm continuity to the live on the plug. Connection 4 should go direct to the compressor and connection 6 goes to the defrost heater.
