Hi, my Hoover switches on but the high/low button doesn't work when pressed and the light doesn't come on. Is it likely to be the hi/low button that needs replacing with Stock Number: ES1383541?
Henry Hoover (numatic international) Model number HRV200A The Hoover made a loud bang when in use, tripping the consumer unit. The Hoover works on low setting only so wondered if the switch has blown? Stock Number: ES1383541? Thanks for advice

It is possible for the switch to blown, check for any signs of damage to the switch and control module.
