i need the part that holds the knob in place

the knob was knocked off by my youngest child and it broke of at the place where it is attached to the cooker. the knob is ok but half the pin remains inside it, how do I remove this and can I get a replacement pin?

    The pin you refer to is likely to be the shaft of the control that has broken and requires replacement.
