Is it possible to remove the inner part from an existing door and insert it into this outer part?

One of the holders for the door catch spindle has broken on the outer layer. The seal and inner part of the door are fine. However can the inner part of the door and the seal be safely removed for reuse and the outer part replaced?

Re TLC's question: You may be able to cut through the glue to dismantle the door using something like a 'cheese wire' to draw through the gap but we have no information on this.

  • I have the same problem. I've tried to remove the inner part of the door but it seems to be stuck with some kind of heavy duty adhesive. Question to eSpares... Is there a way of doing this? If you sell the parts you should know how to use them! Please help By TLC - Brighton - 01 March 2018

We believe this should be possible but do not have information on this.
