My dryer is only half hot. Ive done ohm meter test and it reads 85. Is this out of tolerance? Thanks John

    Chris at eSpares says...

A 'cold' resistance of 85 ohms if fed by 230volts would only produce a little over 600 watts heat. The total resistance of the heater elements in parallel is likely to be below 27 ohms. This suggests a faulty element.
