Hello will this make my ice flap open .and are there instructions?
every thing else works only the flap won't open

You have not given a model number, we think this is the ice chute flap solenoid. The fridge duct baffle is usually operated by a geared motor. Try defrosting the freezer first as it may have just iced up.
