I tighten bolt and machine drum turns o.k. The next wash, drum stop turning.

Machine gives a loud grinding noise on spin then drum doesn't turn. Tighten bolt and it spins then goes back to not washing and spinning at all. How do I lock the drum so I can tighten the bolt on the back of the drum/direct drive motor?

If the bolt has come loose it should be replaced as a new one will have fresh locking paint on the threads and be a tighter fit making it less likely to undo again. Get a friend to hold either the rotor or the inner drum to help you tighten it.
