Can you just buy the glass rather than the whole thing?
I have a ekc6047x which has unfortunately suffered from a cracked glass top. Everything else seems to be working fine.

The glass is bonded into the frame and would take a lot of work to replace on its own. For this reason manufacturers supply the glass in the frame.
