After several years good service, I am finding the the brush stops rotating, usually when pulling it backwards. It is not blocked or seized up as it starts again after a few seconds. I am suspecting a poor electrical contact. Is this likely?

- Took ours apart and found that from connector pin to motor connector black wire continuity was rock solid but white wire was open cicuit/high resistance as head was rotated.
- This happened to mine. You need to remove the brush from inside the unit and remove the fluff twisted around the static plastic spindles.

We believe it is not likely to be an electrical contact, check for something stopping the brush bar at the ends.
