Can 'false black widow' spiders be killed/detered with the Smoke Insect killer product?

They are in cluttered shed which has a well fitted door and windows. They hide in open tool boxes, corners and crevices and make tangled webs. The female spider will bite (similar to a wasp sting) in self defence when accidentally disturbed. They are carniverous and maybe the smoke might kill their prey/food and they will move out.
