how do i get to this part to change it
Intermittent starting/running. MOST of the time it runs fine but sometimes does not work. It is 15-20 years old. kenwood Km800 major mixer. is it easier/better to change motor? Thanks G

This part is not likely to be causing your problem. Examine your power cord carefully for signs of damage or pinching. Dismantle and access the motor to check the brushes condition and replace if worn. If the above are OK suspect the switches or control panel.
