HOW IS THE HANDLE REMOVED
THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A SLOT FOR AN ALLEN WRENCH IN THE HOLES UNDER THE HANDLE SUPPORT. IT LOOKS LIKE A GROOVE WHICH MIGHT TALE A SMALL SPADE HEADED SCREW DRIVER. IS IT A TURN (LEFT OR RIGHT) OR A PUSH UP?

The handle fits onto 'arrow' headed studs fixed on the door. If you find a flat screwdriver blade of similar size to the hole and just insert it into the hole Then while applying a slight pull on the handle rotate the screwdriver to open spring clips holding the arrow heads and lift the handle off.
