Why does the cable keep snapping at the plug?

- Good question. Same problem here. Kept hearing a little ticking in the kitchen which I tracked down to the plug. When I unplugged realised the cable right at the end was compromised, I unplugged it to a big "crack" and spark which gave me the fright of my life! I don't wrap the cable up either, so not sure why this happens, sorry.
