can this be fitted to an outside wall
I would need the light to remain on for at least 30 seconds to enable my elderly mother to get up the outside stairs

We do not have information on the 'on time' for this sensor but if there is movement within the area of the sensor range it would continue to come on repeatedly so should be suitable.
