beko 8543130w

the washer works fine, the dryer works for around 30-50 minutes but then stops? the thermostat had been changed twice as that's what beko thought it was and ended up giving the customer a new machine, I bought this beko second hand, I'm no expert but does this sound something to do with a sensor that tells the machine that the washing is dry so it stops the dryer to stop overheating etc? if so is there a specific name for this sensor? any replys are much appreciated Thank you!
