HI Daniel, thanks for the info - I am all ready to order the parts I need form you, just want to ensure it is the right problem! I put the machine on an empty spin and the drum turned for a certain amount of time slowly but when the cycle would normally go into a fast spin, it stopped and flashed the error code again. Model is vhd44/80 I believe

We still do not recognise this model number so cannot get specific information. The error code would also be useful to try and identify the cause. This could be a motor/brushes problem or a fault with the control board.
