After my Bosch fan oven has been on for about 5 mins the RCCD trips

The element is heating initially and the fan is working I removed the bulb in case it was earthing when hot Could the element be earthing at a certain temperature ?

  • A high electrical resistance with the heating element is most likely cause. This could be a faulty failing element or possibly a loose spade connector that connects the power to the heating element which if loose would cause high resistance and trip RCD.
