Fitting instructions?

When fitting a new 'Suction Assembly' (which mates to the lower arm support) I cannot get a watertight seal despite having fitted this part very carefully so as to not damage rubber sealing surface (finger tight and then a little tighter). Is any sealant ever used? Model Indesit DV62.

Hi Tonyoc, there is an o-ring between the suction assembly and lower arm support, it could be that you're missing that. You can find that part here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/dishwashers/indesit/p/1083/805/0/0/1126015/o-ring-seal-32.99-x-2.62.html
