How long should a typical wash be
I am looking to replace the timer because my wife says the wash is far to long up to 3hours is this normal. Thanks PS( This is our first ever front loader)

To give good wash performance at cooler wash temperatures manufacturers have had to extend their wash programme times. Do not worry about the length of cycle as the energy used by extending the time is more than compensated by the reduced heat required for the cycle. There is not likely to be a timer fault in this case.
