Where is the sump located?
My dishwasher wont empty. Your advice centre suggests cleaning the sump...I don't know what this is or where it is found.

Hi there. The sump, also known as the water collector, is the water reservoir that collects and drains waste water from the dishwasher. You can view one here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/dishwashers/whirlpool/p/1083/278/0/0/702959/dishwasher-water-collecto.html - (NB this isn't necessarily the sump for your model). The sump is located underneath the sieve/drain part at the bottom of the dishwasher, under the bottom cutlery basket. If you clean out the sump and the sump seal, hopefully your dishwasher will begin to drain again. Hope this helps.
