My Bosch dishwasher shows check water after it has been running for a little while. The supply hose is alright. Now there is a slight burning smell.

I reset the programme and tried it on a different setting and it worked alright for a little while, but now I am frightened to use it because of the burning out smell.

Check with the link below if your appliance is the subject of a safety recall as there have been some problems with some Bosch dishwashers. http://www.repairaction.co.uk/bosch If this checks ok check the water level just after it starts and again when it stops to see if water is leaking or draining away.
