Black gunge

My decalcifier also has black gunge in there as well as the brown decalifying powder. The machine smell despite all cleaning. could this be the cause?

  • Hi Rory the black Gunge is in the decalcifier rather than in the machine, so dont think it would get back in there By jonebgud - chelmsford - 01 June 2011

Hi jonebgud, I'd advise running an empty wash with a sachet of this limescale and detergent remover in there as well - this should go a long way to clearing any gunge or build up.
