Does this help control temperature of fridge?

The top part of my fridge is freezing when it shouldn't, and there's a square symbol where the temp should be displayed. I'm guessing the probe is the thermostat. Is that right?

Hi Tallgate, the probe is indeed another term for thermostat. Regarding your problem, check out our fault diagnosis page: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/fridges-and-freezers/a/2/280/common-fridge-and-freezer-faults.html Good luck!
