where is the thermostat and how to replace it
I have identified the spare for my Tricity Bendix Fridge Freezer model BFF781W. Please can you advise me on how to get the old one out and the new on in? Thanks

Hi Ken, this part is actually the white casing which houses the thermostat; the housing you see inside the fridge. The thermostat itself can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/fridges-and-freezers/electrolux/p/1084/15/0/0/586048/fixed-refrigerator-thermo.html. To get to the thermostat, you'll need to remove this housing, as well as the box inside the housing which encases the thermostat. Once you've done that, the 'stat will come out. Reverse the process to fit the new one.
