      replacing shorn-off knob on zanussi hob

      I hope to buy this but any advice on how to remove the broken plastic stem from inside the hob switchplate? Knob snapped clean off, leaving the black plastic part behind, is shorn across so cannot be gripped with a tweezer. thanks
