Hi, I bought a thermostat kit for my tumble dryer. When i tested the existing stats only one was open circuit. I have received two stats which are colour coded. Should I replace both and are the existing stats colour coded the same as the new ones?

It is important on dryers to replace the thermostats correctly as one is a cycling thermostat and the other will be a safety cut out thermostat.
