can the power board and the main oven heat sensor be in any way related

just replaced the powerboard on a whirlpool double oven AKZ196/IX 858519615020 AND THE DISPLAY IS SHOWING F03 CODE FOR THE HEAT SENSOR CHECKED THE HEAT SENSOR WITH A METER AND CANT GET A READING just wondering if the sensor is the problem now before i go ahead and order 1.

    The sensor should have a reading of between two thousand and forty thousand ohms depending on type. If you are not obtaining a reading in this region replace the sensor.
