I have the cap still and it looks ok on the outside but when I push the button in it doesn't stay in...
Will replacing this cap be sufficient or do you think there might be something else wrong? I have put sellotape over the button to keep it in and the dryer keeps going until the timer hits zero and it stops.

This 'cap fits directly onto the switch and does not require any other additional part (other than the switch itself).
- I'm having exactly the same issue reported above by Jayne. I'm looking for a replacement button with its internal components that make the button system and not just a cap, as apparently the cap is absolutely fine in appearance, but it does not stay pressed. Please confirm is this a full replacement button component or just a cap/shell? Indesit Tumble Dryer (model: IS70CUK) Thanks
