Would one of these fix water hammer problem, pls?

Hi I have a 2nd hand Bosch dishwasher - on which the solenoid (?) operating the cold water feed is VERY "sharp", causing a loud knock in the (hidden within the house) water pipes when it starts and/or stops. As we run the machine at night (on Economy 7) this is a major problem! Would a new inlet valve definitely cure the problem, pls? And would this particular valve fit model S101RB (label also says SG13000GB, and I think, SG10000GB/08) (why do they have so many no.s??) Also, how easy wld it be for an amateur to change this, pls? Many thanks for your help!

Hi Ccman, I agree with you, all the numbers printed on the dishwasher are very confusing! Unfortunately, none of the numbers you quoted are valid model numbers, sorry! Is there any chance you could double check the washer? You can use our guide for help: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx#a2
