Is this actually used to cook, alongside the main fan element ?
My oven is a Neff U1422NGB 03. The lower element is under the main oven and can only be changed by removing the oven from housing. Fan and main element are both fine so I'm curious if the lower only gets used during the high heat clean cycle. Many thanks.
