Do I need new hinges?

I took my Indesit KP9507 oven door off to clean the inner glass. But the door hinges have seemed to have snapped into a locked position? Well I can't budge them anyway. There are two little levers - but so tight I cant move them? Are my hinges simply locked or broken? Do I need to buy new? what should I do please? Thanks Gillie
