My vax upright vacuum cleaner is very noisy. Can you help?

If the noise has not just developed as a result of a fault you are not going to be able to reduce it by fitting an optional extra. This part is going to be some type of motor insulation that the manufacturers fitted to a specific appliance and will not fit on your cleaner. If you need a quieter cleaner go for a Henry type vacuum as these are built with higher levels of insulation and are quieter so often used in offices.
