Karcher K2.36M 1.761-431 Pressure dropped off but pump still running, turned machine off and later discovered it was leaking oil. Took pump apart and appears to be leaking below electric motor. Could this be a seal gone and which one, part number?

Leaking oil, would this explain the drop in pressure or could there be two separate issues?

Answer this Question (2 Answers)

  • Is the pump working or just the electric motor? I've just stripped mine down and found the gear which should be a tight interference fit is now loose on the motor spindle. It doesn't provide any drive into the reduction box or pump. By SM - - 15 February 2019
