Is there any other way to access the heater element connectors without removing the drum assy in a Candy GOC580C tumble dryer?

If you gently tug the wires as they pass into the cabinet you may see a small plastic peg passing through the back move. If you release this peg by gently squeezing it with pliers and pushing through you will have enough cable to carefully pull through the whole and reach the connectors. Refit these connectors to the new heater and refit the heater. Then remove top fascia and front as previously described to reach through and refit cable grip to cabinet to prevent cable damage by drum.
