I have just received the part. Can you explain how I fit it to the plastic part attached to the basket. I do not want to force or break anything. Thank You, Frank Adams.

On the second image of the part on the left of the image you can see two wedges or barbs that spring back to this position when they have been pushed onto the basket. To remove the old bracket, push these barbs down and slide the bracket of the basket.
