Which wires go where?
Replacing ours with this switch and didn't take note of what went where before removing the broken one. Any pointers appreciated! Thanks

- Hi, I have a similar problem but I don't follow the instruction here. The wires into the assembly are coloured as follows: 1. Blue 2. Brown 3. Brown & Red 4. Black & Blue. Which one goes where? Thanks.

Unplug and use a meter on resistance to identify the live connection back to the mains plug and then identify the neutral to the plug. Fit each to a separate switch contact and confirm they do not 'short when the switch is closed but connect to the two vacant terminals. As this appliance is connected to a double pole switch the two remaining connections can be fitted on the free terminals either way.
- Thanks Chris, how can I tell which is mains power and which wire goes in which of the two terminals? Is there a colour / number code I should be following? Of the remaining wires, does it matter which of the two terminals they can plug into? Thanks

This contains two connected switches seperated by the raised plastic barrier. Mains power can connect to the two terminals next to the Fascia and the wires from the rest of the appliance will connect to the two furthest from the fascia.
