The grill oven door will not close. I need to remove/look at both hinges (one on each side) to decide what the problem is and how many hinges to replace. Do I have to remove the side panels and if so have you any assembly drawing that may help me please?

  • Have found answer! TURN OFF ELECTRIC SUPPLY TO COOKER!! Lower grill oven door; lign up the holes in each hinge and lock in position with nail or split pin. Looking down at the hinges remove the one screw in each hinge in the door and slide door off hinges. For left hand hinge facing cooker remove the lower oven door by removing the screws attaching both door hinges to the cooker. Remove screws holding top of cooker hot plates & knobs etc in position - two at back and three below the front facia just above where the top of the grill oven door would have been. Lift off top and place carefully slightly away from the LH side panel and resting on top of cooker frame. You can now remove the screws at the top of the side panel at back and front (3 each corner?). Remove screws holding side panel in place - down LH front edge of cooker. I removed the back panel of the cooker completely and then removed the further screws holding the side panel to the back frame. Side panel will now come away. Remove the two screws at the front attaching the hinge to the cooker. Remove hinge. The same applies to the RH hinge assembly but there would be no need to remove the lower oven door.
