We do not currently have any information on this type of repair.
We have an FP580 with liquidizer in which my wife chops seeds and nuts. The drive to the knives has just failed due to failure of the female-left-hand-threaded nut in this coupling and the distortion of the broad washer behind it. 1 Answer
It's a crap design since the drive is not at all positive and has a tiny diameter, but is changing this part the best solution? (and why didn't you put this paragraph first?)

To chop seeds and nuts you should use a mill attachment as the blades are likely to be shorter and less likely to be damaged by the nuts. You can search ' Kenwood Mill' to identify suitable products.
