trying to fit plain half of the ball first (not the half with the door aperture)but it is not locating correctly, do i need to remove any other parts first.

unfortunately, we do not currently have any information on the replacement of this part.
it seems like the ball mechanism has worn and the extra movement hits the filter. when hoovering it feels like it is running over something and if you turn it sharply it just jams up. would it be the ball assembly or the large bearing required?
