The lamp blew and now the fan doesnt work the main fuses seem ok, do i need this control box to fix the problem ? 1 Answer

Check for any signs of damage to the board and elements as they are more likely to cause the fuses to go.

This part is listed by Rangemaster as 'SWITCH & HARNESS ASSEMBLY (WITHOUT LAMPS)'.
I have narrowed the problem down to either the switch unit or the motor. I suspect it's one of the switches. Anyone had similar problems.

If steam has condensed in the switch bank it could cause this problem. To confirm isolate the motor and check if the switches still trip the power.
