We would not recommend this as the waveguide cover protects the magnetron from any splash back caused by cooking.

The mica cover is not affected as heat from the combi oven will not reach it.
the screw holding the waveguide in place has gone missing. Will any suitably sized screw do, or does it need to be made of a particular type of metal/plastic? 1 Answer
