This part is impossible to remove - any instructions to fit new part - only the spring has broken. 1 Answer

Remove the door and hinge assembly and carefully warm the hinge with a hair dryer or hot water to soften. Then by carefully using a flat bladed screwdriver between door and hinge bracket at the pivot without the spring gently prise apart until the bracket can be lifted off the pivot. Reverse procedure to refit.
