It has extremely sharp stainless steel blades that rotate at very high speed, and either finely chop or purée the contents to a smooth texture. Ideal for milkshakes, soups, breadcrumbs, drinks, mayonnaise, biscuit crumbs, chopping nuts and crushing ice etc
