  • Hi, I fitted one to a hoover nextra HNF7148-80. I required a 7mm spanner and socket, a screw driver to leaver the front retaining ring off and some washing up liquid to lubricate the inner door seal to help fitting. (well worth doing) Regards and good luck By tptclarke - Cornwall - 24 May 2010
  • Strength, patience, a couple of small adjustable spanners and a flat head screwdriver. Best of luck - the online video is very helpful but it is not a 5 minute job. By harttss3 - Berkshire - 11 March 2010
  • Washing up liquid, small screw driver, and 1/4" drive small socket (7mm and 8mm i think) and spanner By m4rkp - Slough - 02 March 2010

It should be possible to carefully prise the seal retainer of the outer rim and replace the door seal through the door port hole. Although this is more awkward than the machine in the video.

Answer this question

These marks are easily washed off by hand as it is like a slim ,when run under hot water it will wash away. I have cleaned out machine best I can and run on hot cycles but it still happens

This problem is likely to be due to a build up of mould and bacteria in the machine. Use Stock Number: ES1566874 eSpares Limescale & Detergent Remover through the machine for two or three cycles and see if this clears it. If this resolves your problem remember to leave the door and soap draw wide open after use until the machine has dried to help prevent the mould coming back.
